Department of Technical Education, Chennai has notified that the part time application for admission to BE/BTech courses for the year 2014-15 in Government, Government aided engineering Colleges will be available in the following colleges from 19-03-2014 to 07.04.2014.

Thanthai Periyar Govt Engineering College, Vellore,

Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore,
Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai,
Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.
Cost of Application Form: The cost of application form is Rs. 300 for others and Rs. 150 in respect of SCA/SC/ST candidates, on production of attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate.
The Cost of the Prescribed Application form should be in the form of Demand Draft obtained not earlier than 19.3.2014 from any Nationalised / Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Part time B.E. / B.Tech. Admissions, Coimbatore”, payable at Coimbatore.
Application by Post:
Application form can also be obtained by post from “The Secretary, Part time B.E. /B.Tech. Admissions, Coimbatore” by sending a separate self – addressed envelope of size 35 cms x 25 cms duly affixing stamp to the value of Rs.50/- along with a Demand Draft for the prescribed amount with a requisition letter.
Last date for filled in Application is 07.4.2014. The filled in application should be sent to the “The Secretary, Part time B.E. / B.Tech. Admissions, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore – 641 014.
The Counselling for Admission to Part time B.E. / B.Tech will be conducted at
